Yarn Cake Holders

Are you tired of your yarn getting away from you while you knit? Have a project in hibernation collecting dust? Or maybe you're like me and have pets and the pet hair just won't seem to stay out of your yarn cake while you're knitting something. Or the cat suddenly feels like taking off with your beautiful yarn..............

Well, here's the solution to your problem. It's a yarn cake holder and the 34oz size holds a pretty decent sized yarn cake. In the picture I have put in a cake of chenille yarn. The metal grommet keeps your yarn running through smoothly. I have about 8 of these filled myself most of the time as I get bored and have more than one project going at a time. But if you're a knitter dedicated to just one project at a time, one or two of these will surely save your yarn if you have pets who love to play with your stash while you're trying to knit it up.............LOL

My cat is always wanting to sit in my lap while I knit, which usually means I lose control of my yarn (it gets knocked to the floor) and then he has to get up and kill the yarn .... I'm sure you can see what a mess this becomes. This awesome little plastic doohicky is the answer to prayers I don't remember praying! It totally stabilizes everything, and even if my yarn falls, it's not like it's going to go roll around the room now.
