 A Little about me........

I'm originally from Germany, born and raised there.  That's also where I learned to knit and crochet, in second grade.  During my younger years I thought of it as the most boring thing to do.  I used to watch my mom knit and make me beautiful sweaters, but I just never had any interest in it.  I dabbled with knitting or crochet off and on throughout the years and made the occasional baby jacket here and there.  Four years ago we moved to New Mexico and I didn't know what to do with myself for boredom.  I picked up my needles and knitted my daughter an afghan in a week, and then crocheted my son an afghan in another week.  Still bored and not fulfilled, I picked up the needles and decided to knit and crochet for the maternity ward and so that's what I did for months.  After that, I couldn't put the needles down anymore and have been knitting just about every single day since.

 
I crochet also, but not nearly as much as I knit.  Over the last few years I've made many many things and someone said to me "you should write some patterns", which then got the wheels rolling and I started to dabble with design.  I'm still not great at designing,  but I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to knitting, so test everything extensively.  I plan on doing more patterns as time permits and health permits as I suffer from many health problems, but knitting is one thing that gives me joy and relaxes my mind.  Please check back often to see what may be new from time to time
